Ans. Fas Tag is an Electronic tag Based on RFID Technology (Radio Frequency Identification Technology) used for the collection of Toll tax fees electronically directly from the issuer's bank account to the acquirer's bank account. This helps in reducing air pollution, preventing tax evasion, reducing fuel wastage, and more.
Ans. Fastag Works on an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Technology). When a car passes from any fastag lane from the toll plaza, then an RFID Scanner scans the RFID Tag from the windshield of the vehicle and gets the complete information about the vehicle, and calculates the fare. After Calculating the fair the amount confirmation is sent to the issuer's bank, if the issuer bank approves the payment, the amount gets deducted from the individual bank account, then the payment is complete else payment gets rejected and payment failed message appears on the screen of the toll plaza computer.
